The Hoell's came down for their annual visit in August.
It didn't take much convincing from Brittany and Timothy to get Grandpa climbing up in the McDonalds play land. "Tag Grandpa, you're it!" We took "Uncle Mark's" boat to the lake, for a day at the beach! |

Grandpa took Brittany and Timothy on their very own fishing trip. What a success! The fish were so big, we couldn't fit them in the picture!
I guess having a Long Island fisherman in the family DOES pay off!
Of course we caught the laser light show at Stone Mountain Park. |

In September we headed for the Georgia Mountains and broke out the tent for a camping trip.
We found a walk-in site nestled deep in the woods by ourselves. We even got to roast marshmallows and go horseback riding. |

Fortunately, we had a guide on this horseback riding trip, some of the trails we took these horses on were quite challenging. Oh, my horse introduced me to several holly bushes!
Also in September, Brittany and Timothy ran their first road race. It was a 1k. Timothy RAN the whole thing at a pretty good pace. Brittany decided to stop every few feet or so to pickup leaves and acorns, almost killing the runners behind her. |

Brittany and Timothy have started to take Karate. Watch out! Timothy has mastered the Roundhouse kick, and Brittany has one heck of a dagger knife punch!
The both also started a partial day pre-school 3x a week. They love it! He is a picture of Timothy when we picked him up after the first day. |
